‘Salam (Hello) Neighbor’ film Thurs Feb 18

You are invited to a special screening of Salam Neighbor, sponsored by the River City Refugee Sponsorship Group 1 at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 18th, at the Strathcona Community hall (10139 87 Ave).  Salam (Hello) Neighbour is a film and campaign to connect the world to refugees. The film follows the journey of Chris and Zach as the first filmmakers ever allowed to be registered and given a tent inside of a refugee camp [in Jordan]. 

The film will be followed by a Q & A, coffee and Syrian treats.

Admission is free, but donations to cover costs will be gratefully accepted.
