Engage 106-76 Survey

Last week, the City of Edmonton and volunteer Core Team hosted the Engage 106-76 Open House, where the Draft Concept Plan for 106 Street (61 Avenue to Saskatchewan Drive), and 76 Avenue (Saskatchewan Drive to 104 Street) was presented.

The Open House had great attendance – 349 people! We appreciate those of you who were able to attend, and we want to share the meeting materials with those who couldn’t.

These materials, including links to the detailed maps, are available online – check out what is proposed for our area (for the Strathcona Centre community, this plan includes 106 Street from Saskatchewan Drive to Whyte Avenue).

The Draft plan was developed using the input collected so far, and we have a survey where we are looking for your feedback on:

  • How does the Draft Concept Plan meets the vision for walk, bike, live?
  • Based on your local experiences in the neighbourhood, are there specific areas where walkability, bikeability and livability could be further improved?

Please complete the survey before April 25, 2016.

Once we have all the input, we will analyze it and finalize the plan. We will communicate back what we heard and how input was considered in the final plan.  If you have not signed up as a Community Partner, please do so here, so that you can be sure to get the latest updates right to your inbox.

Note, we still need to complete the Concept Plan in Pleasantview and Empire Park. Because these neighbourhoods will proceed later in the Renewal schedule (2020), there is additional time before this needs to be completed.
