reminder – BBQ Sun 3-7

Annual Pot Luck BBQ Featuring Local Authors and Craftspeople – Sunday September 13th (3pm to 7pm) at the hall (10139 – 87 Avenue).   If it rains we’ll move inside.  Bring some loonies for buskers and bake sale.

• local artist Berna will be leading a craft for all ages to make a beautiful embossed leaf picture*
• Jumpy Castle and games
• burgers/dogs/veggie dogs provided
• bring a pot luck dish to share
• bring your own cutlery and plate (we’ll have spares if needed)
• artists /authors/craftspeople will be showing their work – bring some loonies for a bake sale and buskers:

*art project:  Tin foil embossing project celebrating the leaves and petals of summer.  If you have particularly interesting leaves in your yard, please bring some to share. Weeds are also very interesting :).  Each project is sprayed with black spray paint and then rubbed with steel wool. Supervision and assistance is required for kids under eight. All materials are provided.
