Winterfest – Sun Feb 14 – volunteers desperately needed!

The annual Winterfest is this Sunday, Feb 14th, 2:00 to 5:00.  However, we need volunteers to make this great event happen.    

Volunteer jobs:

• BBQ’ers
• Kitchen workers
• Carnival games helpers
• Cook-off organizer
• Set Up helpers
• Clean Up helpers
• Sleigh ride supervisors

The Winterfest will be

• at the Strathcona Centre Community Hall – 10139 87 Ave. 
• 2:00 to 5:00
• sleigh rides
• carnival games
• skating (subject to ice conditions)
• burgers/hotdogs/hot chocolate
• dessert cook-off (great prizes:  Blue Chair Café, Rosso’s Pizzeria, Big Rock Brewery, McBain Camera, and more!).  Let us know if you’ll be bringing a dessert:  social@strathconacommunity.ca
• cookie decorating (for the contest, or just for fun – and to eat!)
