Strathcona League Courts are open to individuals with a Strathcona Community League membership.

BOOK A COURT
Use the new Online Booking system to book pickleball, badminton and tennis courts (membership required). 
This system ensures there will be a court for you to use, and it allows us to track usage of the courts, which is tied to our funding from the City.

EQUIPMENT ACCESS (nets and paddles)
To request the access code for the storage locker on site, please click here and follow the instructions. The tennis net will be available on the courts.

COMMUNITY PICKLEBALL TIMES
The league is hosting community pickleball sessions, starting Tuesday, May 12:
Sunday & Wednesday mornings – 10am – noon (or 9am – 11am later in the season when it gets hot)
Tuesday & Thursday evenings – 7pm – 9pm
The community sessions are Open Play – all levels are welcome.  Some nets, paddles and balls are provided, but bring your own if you have them.

Reminder – Volunteer Appreciation Event – Sat, May 9, 7 – 10pm.  

There will be wine tasting, beer, snacks and soft drinks, and a chance to mingle with other volunteers.

If you have volunteered with the League since May 2023, you should have received an invitation via email. If you plan to attend, please remember to RSVP via the link in the invitation email.

Strathcona Community League Indoor Mural 

The Strathcona Community League is seeking an artist or artist team to design a medium-scale indoor mural to be installed within its newly renovated community hall in Edmonton, Alberta.

This mural will debut as part of a major building renovation and re-opening, serving as a visual anchor that celebrates the League’s legacy while reflecting its continued role as a vibrant hub for community connection, recreation, and culture.

The selected artist will create a digitally rendered mural design that will be professionally printed and installed within the interior space.

Come join us for a fun hour of socialization, fun & fresh air at the Strathcona Community League. We are offering a six week Funball session for kids 2-4 years old. Come kick the ball around, meet some new friends, burn off some energy & get a t-shirt.

We highly encourage parent volunteers and need them to run this program so be prepared to step in and lend a hand. If you have any questions at all please send an email to sport@strathconacommunity.ca.  Looking forward to meeting everyone and cultivating a positive play experience for our little ones.

Get to know your neighbours at our monthly Sip & Stroll event! 

The next walk is planned for SUNDAY, May 3 at 10 AM.

Grab your coffee and meet us at The Columbian (8905-99 Street NW) where we will head into the river valley for a walk. Planned distance is 4-5 km. A great way to meet new people and enjoy the weather!
