The Boyle Street Health Hub has received a Development Permit. 

The permit is being appealed with hearing dates taking place June 27th and 28th. 

After the appeals, the SDAB (Subdivision and Development Appeals Board) will make a decision if they can move forward with the Class A Development Permit. 

If they are successful, they will submit an application for the Building Permit and potentially start construction sometime in late July.

Boyle Street will be hosting multiple community engagements to provide accurate information on the services provided in proposed Strathcona Health Hub, as well as to help generate a good neighbour agreement for the project.

The second community engagement will take place on: January 30, 6 – 8pm, Ritchie Community League (7727 98 St)

This meeting builds upon the first meeting (December 13), and Boyle Street will share new plans and supports for the proposed Health Hub.

Community members are encouraged to attend the meeting if they have questions or views they would like to share.

The Strathcona Health Hub will provide health services to marginalized people in the area, as well as an Overdose Prevention Site.
