Get Ready for the District Planning Public Hearing!

With Edmonton’s proposed District Policy, 15 district and geographic plans are to be retired or amended. This goes to City Council Public Hearing for consideration on May 28, 2024 at 9:30am.

Together, the new District Policy and Plans will help guide growth and change in Edmonton, showing where development, and infrastructure and amenity investment should be encouraged in each district. The intent is to move Edmonton towards the City Plan vision of a healthy, urban, climate resilient city where everyone enjoys easy access to amenities and services close to home.

Edmontonians can register to speak at the public hearing to share their views on the proposed Policy and plans directly with City Council. Learn more.
