District Planning for Scona District

We usually think about where we live in terms of our neighbourhood or city. In reality, we live on a scale somewhere in between—that’s a district!

Instead of creating individual plans for all 400+ neighbourhoods in Edmonton, the City is introducing 15 unique districts—collections of neighbourhoods where residents can meet many of their needs for play, shopping, and socializing locally.

Old Strathcona is now part of the Scona District and the City of Edmonton wants your feedback!
There are multiple engagement opportunities for individuals, including a SURVEY closing Oct 15, and an in-person meeting on October 6 at Queen Alexandra Community Hall.

Strathcona Centre Community League needs engaged individuals who are interested in the future of our community to participate in this process. Please contact civics2@strathconacommunity.ca to get involved with representing our community.
