Friday Fun Skate; Skating lessons; upcoming Pub Nights

Friday, Jan 8th:  Friday Fun Skate (no sticks or pucks; 3:30 – 9pm) kick-off.

Wednesdays – Jan 13th, 20th, 27th:  Learn to Skate – all ages, free

Friday, Jan 15th:  Family Pub Night – Skating/hot dogs – starts at 5pm.

Friday, Feb 19th:  Scotch Tasting Pub Night – 8pm.

Details:

• Friday Fun Skate:  Please join us on Fridays from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm

(hot chocolate and cookies 3:30 to 6pm)

 at the Strathcona Community League rink. 

Friday Fun Skate will continue every week, weather permitting (cancelled if temperature with wind chill is -23˚ or colder).

It is lots of fun and all ages are welcome – parents included!

No sticks or pucks will be on the ice at this time.

HELMETS ARE MANDATORY for kids.

Preschool (4-6 yrs) – 5:00-6:00pm

Child (7-12 yrs)        – 6:00-7:00pm

All ages                      – 7:00-8:00pm

(lessons cancelled at -20˚ with the wind chill)

• January Pub Night:

Friday, Jan 15th – in conjunction with the Friday Fun Skate.  Go for a skate (or not), grab a hotdog, and come upstairs for a beer/wine/pop/juice and visit with some neighbours.

Upstairs in the lounge.

Starts at 5pm.

• February Pub Night:

Friday, Feb 19th – 8pm till midnight-ish
