Think TWICE! Don’t go near the ice. Safe Sledding

Did you know that sledding near a stormwater pond could land you in deep water. 

Those still ponds are not as safe a landing spot as you might think. There is moving water underneath the ice that makes them unsafe for all winter activities—even walking.  

But there is no need to worry because our city has a lot of safe and fun places for sledding.
