Skiing on a stormwater facility could prove deadly. Those ponds look safe, but they are treacherously unsafe for all winter activities. 
Likewise, Mill Creek and the North Saskatchewan River are flowing waterways that can be dangerous.

To stay safe, visit any of our local cross country ski trails instead—Gold Bar Park, Hawrelak Park and Victoria Golf Course.
