March 2026 HGRC Update

Construction has started on the ground floor of the Strathcona Community League Hall building!

As a reminder, the Hall and Grounds Renewal Committee has been working for 4 years on the project to move the rink and build the pickleball courts AND renovate the ground floor of the Hall building.

We are thankful to the Province of Alberta, the City of Edmonton and Strathcona Nursery School for their support of this project. 

The renovation started this week so the skate change area and all parts of the ground floor of the Hall building are closed. 
Community members are welcome to use the benches outside to change skates while the ice is still there.
The construction end date is slated for July 2026.
