Leave Your Leaves

Spring is coming, and with that: yard cleanup. But hold off. Native bees in Alberta primarily nest in the ground, along with moths, butterflies and other critical pollinators and insects.

If you rake too early, they might meet an early end.
Wait until it’s consistently above 10 °C  before cleaning up your yard. The bees will thank you.
