Walk Your Block Week

The Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch Program Society (ENW) is excited to invite community leagues and residents across Edmonton to participate in initiatives focused on building safer, stronger, and more connected neighbourhoods.
Introducing Walk Your Block Week
This annual city-wide initiative encourages Edmontonians to step outside, connect with neighbours, and help build safer communities just by walking their blocks. Whether it’s a solo stroll, a walk with family, or a group outing, your presence can help deter crime, promote awareness and strengthen neighbourhood bonds. Residents can participate individually, with their families, or together with neighbours.
Date: August 16 to August 22, 2026
Location: All communities in Edmonton are invited to participate in their neighbourhood individually or as a group
