Project Update – October 2026

Construction on the trestle and roadway bridges continues to progress. Major work over the summer included girder installations for both bridges. Concrete deck pours for the roadway bridge were completed in September.

Due to the extreme weather conditions experienced through summer 2026, the road bridge located along 76 Avenue will not be fully completed this season. The bridge will reopen to traffic this winter with temporary asphalt in place. Construction will resume in 2027.  During this time, the roadway will be temporarily closed to complete the remaining work.

Work on the trestle bridge is scheduled to be completed later this fall and additional closures of the trestle bridge are not anticipated in 2027.
