Scona Project Opposition Update

REZONING UPDATE

Update on neighbourhood opposition to the proposed rezoning of 9207 – 9229 99 Street (up to eight storeys) and 9837 – 93 Avenue (up to four storeys). Scona East Residents Association (SERA) continues to oppose this application as inappropriate on grounds including: Slope instability; excessive height and sun shading; traffic impact and poor vehicular access to site; demolition, excavation and construction risks to utilities and nearby foundations; destruction of heritage architecture.
