Winterfest Feb. 25 | Volunteers needed

Join a sleigh ride or put your skates on and enjoy some warm food & hot chocolate at the SCCL annual Winterfest. The winterfest will be held Sunday, Feb 25th, from 2-5pm at the Strathcona Centre Community Hall – 10139 87 Ave.

Do you like a BBQ ?  Or have some great ideas about carnival? We are still looking for volunteers to make a great Winterfest:

* 1:00 p.m. | 4 volunteers | Set Up
* 2 Kitchen and BBQ volunteers per shifts | 1:30 – 3:00 p.m., 2:00-3:00 p.m., 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
* 2 Head BBQ volunteers per shift| 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m.
* 2 volunteers for membership table
* 1 volunteer as Carnival games supervisor
* 1 Carnival games helper early shift (1:30 – 3:00 p.m.)
* 1 Carnival games helper late shift (3:00 – 4:30 p.m.)
* Cook-off organizer and helpers (this takes a lot of time to organize and set up the prizes). This would require 4 to 6 people
* Clean up after event – 4 volunteers
