Learn how we & our kids can be a part of Reconciliation

Do you want to know more about the Truth & Reconciliation Commission? Residential Schools? Reconciliation? Are you looking for a way to engage your children and family in this discussion but don’t know how? How about joining a community family book club? We (two Strathcona community members) will be hosting a book club to explore Speaking Our Truth: A Journey of Reconciliation, by Monique Gray Smith.  

The first meeting will be held this Sunday to discuss chapter 1.  There are a few copies left at Audrey’s books and if you don’t mind waiting about 10 days (and joining next time) Glass Bookshop has offered our book club members a discount with the code BOOKCLUB15.  Finally it is available as an ebook.
