A Friendly Reminder about the King Edward Elementary Field

The King Edward Elementary School understands the desire to make use of the city’s outdoor spaces, especially this year.  Please note, however, that the playground and field behind the community league is a school yard for King Edward Elementary. It should not be used by the public during school hours to allow the kids to roam and to play while distancing. Although we enjoy the scenes of happy dogs chasing balls and bounding through fields, this is not the field for that.  Many of the school children have a fear of dogs and, though most are picked up after, no one wants to spend recess scraping the bottom of their shoes.  Thank you for your efforts in keeping our children healthy, happy and safe.
