Bike Month Final Update

Bike Month wrapped up last week with a prize ceremony at United Cycle and Strathcona came in 3rd place!! Most importantly, we were able to come out ahead of Hazeldean (4th), who were talking some big talk on social media a few weeks ago, by just a couple hundred kms. (Results below)
Congratulations to everyone who participated and to our random winners!

We are so proud that our community Strava group jumped from 28 members to 61 and there were 12-15 additional riders who participated but weren’t on Strava. Just great community building!

And Austin Hoekstra still needs to claim a prize so if you know them, tell them to get it touch

There will be a Winter Bike Month, tentatively planned for February, and the EFCL will also be looking into adding a km/rider category for this event to acknowledge the communities that have fewer but more, just as passionate, riders.
