Casino Coordinator Needed

And we need your help!

The Strathcona Centre Committee League is looking for a Casino Coordinator to help with our casino event:
Where:  Pure Casino Edmonton, 7055 Argyll Rd
When:  Nov 21-22, 2022 (Monday-Tuesday)

The Casino Coordinator has two primary responsibilities, done over a few months before the casino event:
1.      Schedule volunteers into 36 different positions, ranging from late night count room shifts to daytime or evening support in the cashier’s office or as chip runners on the floor.
2.      Coordinate paperwork required by Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis (AGLC).

Help is available from SCCL Board members (volunteer engagement, finances, paperwork) and from professional casino advisors contracted to us (paperwork, logistics).

If you are looking to get involved with the Community League, this is a good short-term position with well-defined responsibilities and lots of support. 

It’s a good way to get to know some of your neighbours and other volunteers in our community.
