Centennial Hockey Rink Murals – Celebration

The Strathcona 100th anniversary hockey rink murals, originally conceived by the students of King Edward School and completed by local mural artist Carveor Triggs, will be installed on Wednesday June 18th. A small preliminary celebration will be held June 19th between 2:30-4:30 pm with Carveor Triggs, some of former Grade 6 student artists (2012), current students and teachers from King Edward School. Community members are welcome to attend. The official celebration and unveiling of the hockey rink murals will take place at the community fall BBQ on Sunday, September 7th. Come join the celebration of our community culture, arts and spirit!
