William Hawrelak Park (originally Mayfair Park) is a 68 hectare park in the river valley featuring a 5 hectare lake and open meadows. The park hosts several major festivals and events throughout the year and is a fantastic location for all Edmontonians and visitors to explore.
A 10-year rehabilitation plan guides the renewal of Hawrelak Park to ensure it continues to serve the recreational and event needs of Edmontonians. Construction is slated to start in spring 2023 and close the park for up to 3 years.
