William Hawrelak Park (originally Mayfair Park) is a 68 hectare park in the river valley featuring a 5 hectare lake and open meadows. The park hosts several major festivals and events throughout the year and is a fantastic location for all Edmontonians and visitors to explore. 

The 10-year rehabilitation plan is complete.

Hawrelak Park reopened to the public on March 13, 2026 with a new playground, updated pavilions, better accessibility, improved storm drainage and more! Grand reopening celebration May 30, 2026.
