District Plans Public Engagement

Thanks to everyone who is engaging with the Zoning Bylaw hearings.

The new District Plans is a different initiative from the City of Edmonton, where the final phase of public engagement is starting October 23.

The City Plan introduces a new planning geography called Districts. Districts are collections of diverse neighbourhoods where residents can meet most of their daily needs within a 15-minute walk, roll or transit trip from their homes.
