Flexible summer job | Program and Facilities Assistant
Are you a post-secondary student looking for a varied job with flexible hours this summer? We have a position for someone with good organizational skills who works well with others, including children.
The position is for a maximum of 16 weeks at 35 hrs a week starting the week of May 13. Some duties will require work in the afternoon and early evening (Mon to Thurs, in May and early June). However, most duties are flexible and can be scheduled around your requirements, in consultation with your supervisor and mentor. Some weekend coverage will be required.
Your job will be to support the operation of the community hall and programs. Duties include researching policies and programs from other leagues; organizing documents (both paper and digital); creating forms; opening and closing the building as required; liaising with hall renters; liaising with event coordinators, minor cleaning and organizing of supplies at the hall; general supervision of children using facilities (indoors and out) at the hall.
Wage: $16.50 per hour
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week. Maximum of 560 hours. Start/end date and schedule is flexible.
Prerequisite: Satisfactory Police Information Check
