If you’re decorating with a live tree this December, ensure it stays fresh by watering it daily. Never use candles to decorate your tree. Remember to use candles safely.
When preparing your festive feast, keep an eye on what you’re cooking. Never use water to put out a grease fire; instead, slide a pot lid over the fire and turn off the heat.
When decorating with lights, never overload electrical outlets and replace any frayed or damaged cords.
Test your smoke alarms and ensure guests are aware of your home escape plan.
