Chair of Communications
The Communications Director is the voice behind the scenes, he / she can tell a story and make it compelling. Information about and from the community league can be found in many places, including a published newsletter delivered to homes in the neigbourhood by volunteers, this website, our Facebook group and Twitter account. The Communications Director keeps social media up to date, the website accurate and the newsletter interesting. This is an incredibly important role on the Board and requires a person who loves to write and loves to tell everyone what’s going on. He / she needs to be proactive in his / her approach to gathering information and must be very organized.
- Meeting commitment = 1 board meeting a month
- Hour commitment = approximately 5-10 hours a month
