The lanterns will be displayed in the Lantern Gardens during the Flying Canoe Volant Festival from January 31 to February 2, 2019. The Flying Canoe Volant Festival is one of Edmonton’s signature winter festivals that celebrate local history, illuminated artworks and indigenous, Métis and Francophone stories, legends, and cultures. The lanterns will be available to available to take home after the festival.
