Last chance to fill out neighbourhood renewal survey

Concept Designs Old Strathcona

The survey for our neighbourhood’s draft concept plan closes tomorrow, July 9. Please make sure you take some time to provide feedback on the plan.

A reminder about the plan: The design includes proposals to reduce shortcutting and speeding, add new bike infrastructure, enhance pedestrian crossings and sidewalks, increase amenities to park spaces including Fred A. Moire Park, Tubby Bateman Park and consider parklets on 98 Street. The survey also includes questions about Councillor Ben Henderson’s motion for a 30 km/h design speed across all residential streets.

Please fill out the survey and add your voice: edmonton.ca/buildingstrathcona

The survey closes July 9, but there will be further opportunities to provide feedback on the concept plan this summer.

  • Saturday, July 28 at McIntyre Park, 10am-1pm
  • Park pop-ups in August (watch the City’s roadside signage and our website for details soon)
  • Other localized engagement (you will see more direct requests related to this if it’s near your home)
