SCCL is looking into the options to Celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday in late July or August. An event that can be full of interesting and entertaining activities to bring our community together in this special year.
- Movie Night,
- Food Stalls,
- Quizzes,
- Music,
- Kids Activities (Wagon rides, Slides, Bouncy Castles, etc.),
- and more.
For the first step in organising this celebration, we are looking for people that are able to support the organising committee. Are you in?

- Is organising and planning activities something you love to do?
- Are you enthusiastic about organising activities in your neighbourhood?
- Do you like to connect with people?
- Do you have experience with organising events and like to see this happen?
- Or, do you know someone happy to support local events?
