Open House: Rollie Miles Athletic Field District Park Renewal
The City of Edmonton is developing a Master Plan for Rollie Miles Athletic Field District Park to guide future park renewal. You are invited to attend an open house (drop-in format) to review the concept option that identifies key features and activities proposed for this park.
Rollie Miles supports many amenities including: Strathcona Composite High School, Queen Alexandra Community Hall, Edmonton Federation of Community League offices, Scona pool, George S. Hughes arena, tennis courts, a 400 metre synthetic running track and several sports fields. The Rollie Miles plan will include an assessment of the park’s physical condition, demand capacity and functionality. The park renewal priorities will be based on community needs, public consultation, standards and regulations (accessibility, safety, health, sport and environment).
If you would like to see how the plan is coming together, or offer your own thoughts and comments, please consider attending the open house.
When: Thursday, June 16, 2016, 4pm – 7pm
Where: Strathcona Composite High School, 10450-72 Avenue 201-Scona Room (2nd flr.)
More information on the plan can be found at the City of Edmonton website.
