Open Houses: Central LRT connector Greater Strathcona

Open houses are scheduled this month on a central LRT connector for “Greater Strathcona”, university, downtown, Bonnie Doon (Valley Line).  Both Whyte Ave and 76th Avenue are considered for the connector. Eventually, this line is expected to extend further east to Sherwood Park.

The first open house was held in Bonnie Doon on Wednesday, July 12th. Two more open houses are available for those that like to be informed:

  • Thursday, July 20 at City Hall from 11 am to 7 pm, and
  • Saturday, July 22 at St. Timothy’s Centre on 84th Ave west of 104 St. from 10 am to 2 pm.

This directly affects Belgravia, Garneau, McKernan, Queen Alex, Ritchie, and Strathcona.

Here’s the online info about the open houses and the project. You can sign up to receive email updates.
