PlanWhyte Land use Study – Public Open House
A final public open house for the planWhyte land use study will be held:
Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Old Timer’s Cabin (9430 Scona Road). A short presentation will be provided at 6:30 p.m.
At this open house, we will share what we heard in June and ask you to confirm a series of concepts including suggested policy recommendations for the study. Your feedback will be used to help finalize the planWhyte land use study and presentation to Urban Planning Committee in April 2018.
We also realize this time of year is very busy for many people and so we are also going to try something a little new in terms of engagement.
On the day of the event, we will provide the same open house materials on the project website (www.edmonton.ca/planwhyte) along with an online survey. The survey can be completed either in person at the open house (using one of the City’s ipads available or your own smart phone), or if you cannot attend, online at your convenience up until January 22nd, 2018. We hope this 5 week window allows you the added convenience, opportunity and time to provide us your feedback given the season.
Thank you for your continued interest in the planWhyte project – we hope to hear from you!
The planWhyte Team
