Beading Workshops with Be Silly By Silly (Mar & Apr 2025)

Dates: Saturdays
March 22 – suggested projects (earrings, bracelets, bookmarks, charms) or pick your own project
April 26 – suggested projects or pick your own project
Time: 12:00 – 5:00 pm
Fee: $46 (discounts available, see below)
Location: Strathcona Community League, 10139 87 Avenue, 2nd floor Lounge (use the ramp on the north side of the building)

Hand-beading workshops facilitated by Illyana Cardinal. 
All necessary supplies provided and included in fee.
March and April projects include earrings, bracelets, bookmarks, charms or pick your own project.
Learners can DROP IN anytime before 2:00 p.m. to start their projects.
These workshops are open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous folk

Illyana Cardinal is the gal behind Be Silly By Silly. She is a 23 year old Mixed-Cree artist from Amiskwaciy-waskahikan (Edmonton). Illyana is a self-taught beader with almost six years of experience. Each piece of beaded jewelry is handmade, put together bead by bead with the future ‘wearer’ in mind. This ensures every item is of the best-quality and vibes.

  • beadstudent+kit – $12 off if you are a student and are returning with a beading kit
