Reminder: Neighbourhood Renewal survey

There’s still one more week to fill out the survey to provide feedback on the draft concept plan for our neighbourhood renewal.

The design includes proposals to reduce shortcutting and speeding, add new bike infrastructure, enhance pedestrian crossings and sidewalks, increase amenities to park spaces including Fred A. Moire Park, Tubby Bateman Park and consider parklets on 98 Street. The survey also includes questions about Councillor Ben Henderson’s motion for a 30 km/h design speed across all of our residential streets.

Please fill out the survey and add your voice: edmonton.ca/buildingstrathcona

You can also find more information about neighbourhood renewal and previous public engagement at that same link.

There will be further opportunities to provide feedback on the concept plan this summer.

  • Saturday, July 28 at McIntyre Park, 10am-1pm
  • Park pop-ups in August (watch roadside signage for details closer to the dates)
  • Other localized engagement (you will receive more direct requests related to this if it’s near your home)

If you have any questions or comments, please get in touch with the co-chair of the Neighbourhood Renewal Working Group, Jeff Samsonow, at pastpresident@strathconacommunity.ca
