Dear Soon-To-Be Neighbors,

Greetings on behalf of Shelley Switzer, Artistic Producer and Paul Bezaire, Administrator of the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival.

In 2018, StreetFest was unable to be on Churchill Square because of LRT and other construction projects. We chose Old Strathcona as our best and only option for a temporary venue. As you may know, the 2019 edition of our festival is once again unable to be on Churchill Square due to a number of ongoing construction projects in the Civic Precinct.

We have chosen to return to Old Strathcona again thanks to the warm reception we received from the neighborhood last year. Our 2019 festival dates are July 5-14. Our programming hours are 11:30 am – 11:00 pm daily and 11:30 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday the 14th . 2019 also marks StreetFest’s 35th year of putting smiles on the faces of Edmonton! While not completely confirmed at the time of writing, our curated roster of performers is shaping-up to be a fantastic mix of artists from throughout the history of our festival as well as some exciting newto-Edmonton acts.
