Summer position available – Program and Facilities Assistant
Are you a post-secondary student looking for a varied job with flexible hours this summer? We have a position for someone with good organizational skills who works well with others, including children.
The position is for a total of 300 hours. Some duties will require work in the afternoon and early evening (Mon to Thurs, in May and early June). However most duties are flexible and can be scheduled around your requirements, in consultation with your supervisor and mentor.
You will work with the Hall Manager and Board members to support the operation of the community hall and programs. Duties include researching policies and programs from other leagues; organizing documents (both paper and digital); creating forms; opening and closing the building as required; liaising with hall renters; liaising with Canada 150 event coordinators; cleaning and organizing of supplies at the hall; general supervision of children using facilities (indoors and out) at the hall.
Wage: $13.00 per hour
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week. Start/end date and schedule is somewhat flexible.
