Survey on Mill Creek bridges
A request from the City to give your thoughts on Mill Creek Ravine’s old trestle bridges:
During the summer, City of Edmonton staff will be assessing 5 wooden pedestrian bridges in Mill Creek Ravine to determine if the bridges need to be rehabilitated or replaced. Given that three of the bridges are trestle-type bridges once used in railway service in the early part of the 20th century, the City is conducting a survey to gather feedback from residents and trail users.
The City would like your opinion on whether the historical look of the trestle bridges should be preserved during rehabilitation, and ask you to highlight any issues the design team should consider during the rehabilitation work.
