Think TWICE. Don’t go on the ice. Skate Safe

Did you know that Skating on a stormwater facility could prove deadly. 
Those still ponds are not as safe as they appear. There is moving water underneath the ice that makes them unsafe for all winter activities—even walking.  
Likewise, Mill Creek and the North Saskatchewan River are flowing waterways that can be dangerous.

But there is no need to worry because our city has a lot of safe and fun places to skate.
