Urban Green Co-Housing Development Update

Urban Green is closing in on a start date.  In the first week of July, the asbestos abatement begins. We expect it to take four weeks.

After the abatement is complete and certified, we can apply for our demolition permit. They say that takes about two weeks.We will apply for our foundation and footings part of the building permit at the same time, so we can begin work on the parkade while the rest of the building permit is in process.

We hope to be breaking ground sometime mid- to late August. Our contractors, Cormode and Dickson. will have a more informed timeline for us by July 8.
