Volunteers Needed!
Big Bin and Freecycling event
9:30am to 3:30pm on June 28th (Saturday).
Seeking volunteers for at least 2 hours in a range of roles
Membership and entry table
- membership check and sign up
- direct vehicles to freecycling and big bin
Freecycling Area
- Managing freecycling area –
- talking to people about the purpose and reason for freecycling
- evaluating material to determine if they should be in bin instead (or recycled)
- general tracking of freecycling in and out flow of items
Clean up (3pm start)
- assist with end of event clean up
- if there is access to vehicle assist in transporting freecycling items left to Goodwill or Value Village.
What be bring: Sunscreen/sun protection, raingear, water, snacks, work gloves
