National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

September 30th is National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.

Looking for ways to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation?
Here are a few:

Root for Trees at Kinsman Park, 11am-3pm
Roots for Trees will be giving away native species of trees, shrubs and wildflowers as a way to honour the victims, families, friends, and intergenerational survivors of Residential Schools. We encourage Edmontonians to show their support by wearing an orange shirt to this event.

Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk at Kinsman Park, 3pm
“JOIN US this SEPTEMBER 30th on the National Truth and Reconciliation Day to help honour and remember our little ancestors who never made it home. We also hold space for the who did and this is why we will raise funds for Orangeshirtday.org, Bear Clan Patrol YEG and Indigenous Youth Sports Scholarships.”
