Bike Parking Regulations Survey!

The Zoning Bylaw Team is conducting a review of the Bike Parking regulations within Zoning Bylaw 20001. Currently the project team is researching how bike parking facilities are used and perceived by Edmontonians. Research results will help the Zoning Bylaw team to determine the extent to which the regulations may or may not need to be adjusted.

– determine how many bike parking spaces are required for new developments: residential buildings, commercial shopping centres, community spaces, transit centres, health care facilities, etc.
– address how much space each parking stall requires,how bikes are stored and how these facilities are accessed.

The survey runs from June 22 to July 20, 2026.
