Edmonton Cat Tour

The Edmonton International Cat Festival is seeking sign ups from cat owners for the first-ever Edmonton Cat Tour on Saturday, May 2nd.  

The tour would kick off a month of activities culminating with the Edmonton International Cat Festival on Sunday, May 31.  

Cat lovers would gather to walk a preplanned route, making stops at different homes who have signed up to show their cat through their window or at their front door to the group.  No one would enter a home and all cats would be viewed from the sidewalks.

Right now, the festival is calling out to cat owners to determine if there are enough interested cats/homes in a walkable neighbourhood to plan a cat tour for May 2.

The deadline to sign up your cat/home is April 1, 2026.
