Pickleball and Pastries

Join us tomorrow morning for Pickleball and Pastries!
TOMORROW – Sunday August 24 – 10am-12pm

Everyone is welcome to come out and watch, give pickleball a try if you want, have a coffee and donut and say hello to some neighbours.

There will be some paddles and nets available to borrow but if you have your own, please bring it along.

Upcoming dates:
Tues, Aug 26 – Intro to Pickleball – 10:30am-12pm
Thurs, Aug 28 – Intro to Pickleball – 7pm-8:30pm
Sun, Aug 31 – Open Play – 10am-12pm
September schedule: TBD

Members who want to play any other time – go ahead if you have your own net.  If you want to use the League’s net (and balls and paddles) you can do so when someone is at the hall to give you access:   Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri  from 1pm – 4pm, and Thurs from 10am – 1pm.  To borrow equipment, email the hall manager at rentals@strathconacommunity.ca ahead of time, or ring the doorbell at the south door.

Tennis players – don’t despair, those lines will be painted next week and then we will install that net. Stay tuned for updates.

Please Note – now that the very fancy and expensive surface is installed, we are asking that there are no wheels or dogs in the rink at all. Thank you!
